Perfectly quiet operation. This clock can be installed in a room, without fear. The seconds needle moves continuously, not by jumping every second. You have to install the needles yourself. It's easy. Be careful that they do not touch each other by moving. The "astronomical" aspect is purely decorative, not functional. On my model, black needles do not contrast enough. This makes the consultation of the hour sometimes a little difficult. Maybe I'll turn the needles to make the silver face appear, it's possible.
I received my order very quickly (two weeks) and in very good condition. The clock is delivered without its AA battery (very usual model).
